sandstorm

The climate in kuwait is desert; in the summer, from May to October, temperatures are blistering with a high humidity rate. The Chamal, a violent and dusty wind. Winters (November to April) are milder than summers (8 to 19°C) with cool, sometimes cold, night and limited rainfalls. We have in kuwait several massive sandstorms each year. a standstorm, strong dry wind blowing over the desert that raises and carries along clouds of sand or dust often so dense as to obscure the sun and reduce visibility almost to zero; also known as a duststormIt.During a sandstorm you'll want to stay out of doors if possible, if you are caught outside cover your mouth, nose, and eyes with a scarf. usually happen in March and April . When a sandstorm happen you cant see above 3 meters so it causes many accidents and many people deaths. Also it causes suffocation some times it lead to death.

painted Turtle

The painted turtle is the most widespread native turtle of  North America. They are usuallu lives in from southern Canada to Louisiana and northern Mexico. Adults eat plants, fish, crustaceans, aquatic insects and some carrion but the young are mainly carnivorous. They and their eggs are preyed on by raccoons, otters, mink, foxes and other medium-sized predators.The adult painted turtle female is 10–25 cm (4–10 in) long; the male is smaller. The turtle's top shell is dark and smooth, without a ridge. Its skin is olive to black with red, orange, or yellow stripes on its extremities. The subspecies can be distinguished by their shells. The most interesting this about this turtle it have no vocal chords, but they can sometimes make hissing sounds.

personal report

   Piles of dead oysters in Kuwait at khiran beach. the first report was on last Wednesday .The number of the dead oysters doubled after few days.An environmental organization searched for the reason of this event but they didn't know  the real reason.  Dr Muna Husain said its Human-induced. But Waleed Alfadhel didn't agree with her he said what happened was a result of pollution or natural phenomenon.

Golden Lion Tamarin

Hello , I am a Golden Lion Tamarin. I am one of the most endangered mammals in the world. I live in Amazon rainforest of Brazil in the tress .I have a very strong legs to climp the trees. my favourit food is crickets (XD). Also I eat some friuts and small birds. The temperature in a rain forest rarely gets higher than 93 °F or drops below 68 °F . rainfall is often more than 100 inches a year. My hair keep me warm in winter.I have many enemies such there are snakes, ocelots, bamboo rats, wild dogs, and owls but I very fast on trees and I can jump fifteen feet. I am nearly extinct primarily because of Poachers they kill me for my hair to sill it. I can't live out of the rainforests beacuse i won't able to find food or home. So if the rainforests destoyed I will extinct

     We started the expedition on august 20th 1860 .Robert O'hara Burke and William john wills lead the expedition . we started from Melbourne and we took with us supplies for a year and a half. Burke didn't have enough experience so we had many problems from the beginning .some men didn't follow the orders they left their supplies to move faster . then burke took a small group and went to cooper's creek river. after that he decided to took only four men for the rest of the expedition. finally we reached flinders river. the return was more difficult because of the rain. we hadn't enough food so we became sick and hungry then one of us died .when we arrived coopers creek we didn't find anyone . we continued south but the food finished burke and wills  died. aborigines saved me I was the last man still alive in the journey. 

My introduction

My name is Ahmad Alothman. I live in Kuwait in Salam aria with my family. I have one brother and four sisters. I came here in Tempe three weeks ago to study. I chose to study at Arizona State University because one of my friend advised me to join it and he told many good things about this university and Tempe. I plan to study at ASU mechanical engineering and I hope to have master degree. I chose it because I like physics and I good at it. The most interesting thing I have done in my life is travel to Holland it's has very nice weather and beautiful nature.
